This acquisition brings hotel clients previously under contract with LiveRate into THN’s extensive network, which already boasts over 19,000 properties around the world. The move marks THN’s first acquisition, contributing to their expanding presence in the DACH market.
For client hotels who were formerly using LiveRate Compare, THN now provides its industry-leading Price Comparison tool. This tool enables website visitors to view all available rates for their stay in real time, eliminating the need to leave the direct channel in search of better prices.
Hoteliers will now be able to monitor disparities and the competitiveness of their properties with 100% accuracy, allowing them to offer the best available rate compared to OTAs and metasearch engines. THN’s product actively monitors disparities down to the exact user search query, providing hoteliers with screenshots so they can take corrective action when needed. In cases when third parties undercut direct rates, the hotel’s website can automatically match the price during the booking process.
Furthermore, client hotels will be able to effectively communicate exclusive benefits of booking directly on their website, alongside the Price Comparison tool. This not only reassures visitors that they are being offered the best available rates but also highlights the advantages of booking direct, ultimately leading to higher conversion rates.
The incorporation of LiveRate’s independent hotels and international hotel brands into THN’s client base is another significant stride towards THN’s overarching mission: to connect every hotel in the world through their unique network.
